Hawaii's Favorite Snack

So what is it? It's Spam Musubi!

It's like sushi, except that the protein is Spam. They grill it, put it on top of rice and usually use the seaweed as a wrap to hold it together. They're found everywhere - convenience stores, supermarkets, and local restaurants.

I'm an adventurous eater, a food snob, a "foodie" if you wilI...but I draw the line at "mystery meat." Have you tried Spam?

Aloha!

  1. I'm with you! I am fairly adventurous when it comes to food, but I think I would just enjoy the sticky rice and seeweed in this case.

  2. Hi Nadia!

Just checking in to day hi. I am glad you liked the Crystal Pier hotel in SD. I thought they were people's homes too until I walked right to the boardwalk. Hope you are having a great day.

I'm a wife and mama. I used to have a corporate job. I appreciate good food, a good read, and a nice bath. I currently call Hawaii "home," but I've lived in lots of other places. This blog is about things I like and notice. Kinda random, like me!
